I would contact RETRO Innovations (Jim Brain) directly and explain that you only need the one chip. Everyone knows who you are and the work you are doing. I would not think that it would be a problem ordering just the one chip. For your information (FYI), JiffyDOS disk drive chips sale for US$20.
