I'm not entirely sure what you want to do. Do you have a parallel port extension cable that isn't straight pass-through and you want to modify it to be that?

I do have an extension cable, but to start with, it's Male to Male and I had to use a gender changer on one end to get the female end to plug the current keyboard into. When I hooked it up, I noticed that the keys were mapping wrong. Must be pins that I'll need to switch when I get my Male-Female cable here (already ordered).

Hi, I think that one of the best advantages of the 128D/DCR over the plain 128 is the possibility to use any keyboard. With this adaptor I could put my 128D behind a KVM switch besides my A1000, A1200 ... and get to share a good and compact PS2 keyboard and do not depend on the commodore ones. www.go4retro.com/products/ckey/Regards Ruben

for a simple extension cable get 2 25 pin IDC ends and what ever length of cable you want and crimp the ends on , no wire swapping or anything is needed I build the cables to allow people to use a 128flat keyboard on the 128D/DCR and its a straight forward crimp job along the same line as the sx64 keyboard cables I build
