Hi Forum,
I was just wanting some advice for best places to sell a large range of boxed games. I have 120 boxed in perfect condition and 150 loose in perfect confdition.
Titles like mutant camels cart boxed, impossible mission disc boxed, the catsles of dr creep.. Many many more, quite a few double ups.
Ive been listing items individualy on ebay with loose items getting $11-$20 AUS boxed have been going for $30-$40 Aus.
Its quite time consuming and ebay/paypal are charging each time. Im okay with this really but wondering of other options out there?
Thanks heaps!

Well eBay is probably the best option if you hope to collect money with PayPal (due to incorporation).
However, there are many other selling venues besides eBay, and several (but not most) advertising venues allow PayPal.
Well I guess I just revealed my personal bias! I have had success selling stuff on eBay via PayPal... and also selling stuff outside of eBay using PayPal.
I have no experience selling stuff without PayPal... I guess I could accept money orders or personal checks... it would be more risky than PayPal...
I could also pay for a "merchant account" so that I could directly accept credit/debit-card purchases... but it requires more effort and money (my opinion)...
In short (my limited opinion), PayPal is great for "small-scale" sales. But if you intend to sell many thousands of "units", then it would be better to spend the money on a "merchant account" so you can directly accept Visa/MasterCard/etc ( instead of paying the "middle man" [in this case, PayPal].)

When I saw the title I got excited and thought someone was ready to commercially sell a C128 game that they had created! Lol
Anyhow... back on topic...
Perhaps another way to sell would be as a job lot for a figure that you would be happy with on eBay or amibay. Another option would be a swap/trade for whatever it is you were going to spend the money on anyway (that's presuming you wanted other similar Retro computer stuff). Then, again, amibay would be suitable in this instance.
And, of course, you can always try the for sale boards here too! This place is really starting to liven up now with a bit more traffic lately and new projects all around.
