Dave Moorman, last editor of Loadstar - the monthly Commodore disk magazine, has made available a number of issues on-line, ready to download as .D81's. Each .D81 is packed with commentary, graphics, and programs. The disks start from issue 170 and continue through the Dave Moorman years with issues 200 to the last issue 250. That's from 1998 to 2008. If you look closely through the issues, you will even find C128 programs (though the separate Loadstar 128 disks are not included in this archive). Thanks RobertB! Sad the LoadStar 128 isn't available, but I never released it ran for that long... it seems like most CBM support vaporized in the 1990s. Very remarkable (and educational) they continued until 2008. Now that is what I call "Die Hard"

Sad the LoadStar 128 isn't available... Well, the 42 issues of Loadstar are still available... just in a different manner. Loadstar issues 1-199 plus other Loadstar extras (like Loadstar 128, Loadstar Newsletter, and much more) are still being sold on CD-ROM by first LS editor, Fender Tucker. To buy the Loadstar Compleat CD, go to www.ramblehouse.com/loadstarcompleat.htmNow what did I do with my LS Compleat? Robert Bernardo Fresno Commodore User Group www.dickestel.com/fcug.htm
