A lot of the C64 people are quite negative about anything C128 related, please don't take it personally!
Do as I do, make your projects for personal reasons and share them if you want. Count any money made as a bonus.
I am on a mission to get the perfect video out of the C128 (specifically the VDC) and did all the work on my own and spent my own money to make it. I recouped a bit selling some but I never sold it to the community as a project first or it just wouldn't have happened.
Good luck with your projects going forward.

Miro, whilst I am very happy that the C128 is getting some attention that it so justly deserves, I'm not sure that for me, personally, I would really find this unit useful.
I have several Retro machines (ST,Amiga,C64,etc) and will probably never want a LAN for any of them. Also a RTC is of no real consequence either. And I really can't justify setting up yet another monitor for yet another standard VDC display.
Im not sure where these 100 8563 VDC chips are going to come from, but as you could probably tell, I'm not the greatest fan of poaching a classic machine for its major IC's. However, that's my opinion and each to their own.
Please don't take this as me being negative about your project. I'm glad that you want to contribute something to the C128 community.
Its just I, myself, would not really use it as there would be such a small userbase (I'm still conflicted as to whether to do stuff for the DTV) and therefore very limited use to the 128 community as a whole.
Using the '63 instead of the '68 and the 100 Euro cost pretty much kills it for me too.
Sorry! :-)
