Yes, I have SCPU128. [...] I'll test also your programs, then reply and if you allow me, wil publish on Mandelbrot blog. Miro Woah SCPU owner ! Sure - put it on this blog thanks a lot.

Also I would like sea CBM Asteroids on the movie overclocked to 2-3-4-5 MHZ. Is any possiblity to do it ?

I have also recorded tests of Mega 65 in C64 mode with testing 3D games, resolution is not best 'cause I can capture output only up to 1920x1080 and M65 has resoution 1920x1200, so video is downscaled (final M65 will feature 1080), also few other C128 videos, but they're large files and impossible to add to blog.
That blog is not my only one, you can find all three blog links and also links to my websites...
Asteroids overclocked to 3/4/5 MHz is on Commodore 8-bit machines not possible (if is it mistake correct me). VIC20, C64, C16+4, C128 and C65 allows 1MHz, 1MHz, 1.7MHz, 2MHz (VIC-IIe only 1.3MHz) and 3.52 MHz Only Mega 65 can to do anything - dafault is 1.02 MHz, fast is 3.52 MHz and full is 48 MHz - but clocking is not yet tested. Curretntly Paul works on 1920x1080 and forces more than 50 MHz. SCPU allows only 1 or 20MHz... So, near 3MHz is possible on C65/M65 fast 3.52MHz, 4MHz could Z80 inside C128, but is downclocked to 2MHz for VIC-IIe sync and 5MHz is not in use. But I know nothing more about clocking than 1.3MHz overclocking of C128 VIC-IIe screen and it is easy to do. So, if you know how to overclock (down/up), let me know... we can do anything. Miro

I think over runing Asteroids on C128 in C64 mode - this is a problem ? Even 1.7 MHZ is probably great (as in Atari )

1,7MHz is possible only on TED Series (C16, 116, 232, 264, 364, Plus/4).
Commodore 128 can run 2MHz also in C64 mode, but there is problem. VIC chip cannot sync with frequency more than 1MHz, so it will display mismatch... There's possible to overclock to 1,3MHz, butit uses IRQ and I mean Asteroids changes IRQ, so it will need recoding game...
Finally: With game mod can: C128 run in 1,3MHz, but near impossible TED Series can run 1,7MHz - but it needs totally recode game Without mod: C128 mode 64 impossible for screen garbage - BTW: same effect produces VIC chip if can Z80 run on 4MHz - so VIC-IIe chip C128 designers choice was good for market, wrong for many features of C128 I own also DTV (modded) - I never tried to get more speed of CPU, but it is FPGA and there is CPU speed hack, but I tried it not yet. Mega 65 allows run Asteroids in 1,02 or 3,54 or 48MHz in C64 mode - if uses not illegal opcodes.
So, if you can post diskimage of Asteroids, I'll test it on M65 and later can be for me inspiration to speedup DTV...

And will go faster with a SuperCPU. [...] You have SCPU ? Could be you Bob shooting movie from this event ? Yes, I have a SuperCPU 128. However, I'm in Bensheim, Germany right now, and the SCPU is in California. As for events, to which event are you referring? 13 hours from Crawley Travelodge to the Best Western Parkhotel Krone, Robert Bernardo Fresno Commodore User Group www.dickestel.com/fcug.htm
