Does anyone have a guide to get this going on Mint or Ubuntu. Right now I am having to reboot into windows to run Vice.

I run Linux Mint. I installed it with apt-get/package manager and placed the ROMs in ~/.vice/C64/ (basic, kernal, chargen, d1541II for example) or ~/.vice/C128/ for 128 ROMs. If ROMs are missing you will get a message about that if you start it from command line.

If you are missing ROMs, the source code archive has most of them.

Thanks. Got a link to the 128 rom? I am only using it for doublechecking code on my type-in games.

Just got it going, it was in the /usr/lib folder on my system. Had to load roms for the disk drives as well.
