From when i was in school in the 80s, i can remember that we only had one floppy drive connected to 5 computers, now because i don´t have to mutch space, i would like to have a similer setup, i just don´t have any clue on how it was set up.
Any help on how it was don is welcome.

all that is needed is a version of a A-B switch you can buy some pre made ones for a heafty price or if you can solder and like to tinker, use a dirt cheap db9 switch box and solder up your own cables

I have DCR and DTV. I have in plan to create device switcher with DB9 ports to switch between. I begin not yet for missing time. I want to share uSD and IEC-ATA, and maybe 64HDD too. DTV has uSD too and DCR of course 1571 - these can't be shared by my solution. If anyone has idea how to share them too, let me know. Miro

Well theoretically, and I am saying theoretically, because I have never tried, given that the C1571 drive has 2 serial port it should be OK to plug in at least 2 C128. Then with a Y splitter (M-2M) - or something like this store.go4retro.com/commodore-iec-disk-drive-y-cable/ one should be able to connect 4 C128 to a single disk drive.

There was a device from Commodore that solved that problem. The Commodore 4015 VIC-Switch. 8 computers could share one drive.
