I read your blog and thanks @ judland. I am not too good with compliments but thank you. Most of my spare time (at least most of the time spent thinking about WsDos) has been geared to enable newbies but believe me I know everyone is already smart. But I do not limit myself to the old Commodores. Nowadays I fly drones Yeah I'm a true geek but I will NOT recommend drones to others because you will soon find out anyway that there are few places in your town that support drone flying. So I am stuck flying my drones in my own apartment and that's not very pretty sometimes Regards to you and yours- Sid

Not to change the main rants but the only silly questions are the ones not asked and I am certainly nobody special . In retrospect, WsDos was probably one of the *only* things I've had any success with in my entire life, so much for that (I won't say anything about that again). I was living in Germany when I first started work on it back in 91 (when my first RAMLink went out) so all it really proves is what I was capable of doing in those days when CMD made me angry. I owned serial number 000646 and it was buggy, not PAL (add other ugly adjectives here for effect). If anyone really cares I am also making a new release disk with all the fixes to the docs that contain all of the relevant information as pertaining to what was discussed here in this forum back in the Spring, Hmnn needs a touch-up or two. That means I better release it soon or it will be put off forever; always one touch-up and tweak away from me being satisfied with it . I'll drop a link to it in here today or tomorrow (yeah THIS November not the next one) l8er

See? I'm losing it man. I can't even remember the month sometimes. Weed does not help this very much.

Greetings, Sid! Thank you for taking the time to read my blog. I don't know if you could tell or not, but I really enjoy software, too! Lots of people enjoy gaming on their retro computers, but I also get a real pleasure from playing with interesting applications... like WSDOS. I think it takes real talent and thinking out of the box to make something like WSDOS. Although I don't have such a talent, the least I can do is try and expose such interesting software to other enthusiasts. And this is the whole point of my blog.
I look forward to your updates to WSDOS, no matter when you may get it done. Notice I wrote "may", as in no way do I want to put you under any undue or unwanted pressure ;o) .
I never got into drone flying myself. They kind of creep me out.... I never liked being watched. LOL! I guess that's one reason why I live out here on the open prairie, so far away from everyone else. Not even Google Street View comes out this far off the paved roads.
-David.

Well, I tell ya, you certainly made WSDOS easy enough for me to use it successfully, so you've definitely accomplished something there!

Instead of re-releasing another D81 image it's probably better to cut down on too many instances of the original download, instead here are the new docs and a revised KILL command that resets the REC and disables RAMDOS without re-booting from the system disk. I tested this today, and everything seems to be working. my.mixtape.moe/mtnkmm.zipBack to the drone thing I'm starting to get bored with it. You can only film yourself scattering the contents of your ashtrays for so long before it starts to get old. [Sid]

Hi Sid, When I try to D/L "my.mixtape.moe/mtnkmm.zip" from your post, my antivirus software blocks the D/L claiming it's a virus or malware. Is my software just being paranoid or something? I have not been having D/L issues with the other D/L's in this thread. LarryG

Thanks for the heads up before I get a bad rap. It looks like I'm going to have to send the d81 out there again as I must have deleted that little zip file (I can't get it at MixTape.com either) I'll just use ZippyShare again but the link may not be valid more than a month or two- www44.zippyshare.com/v/gPXWWJ6c/file.html
