Okay that seemed to do it. Try it now- sorry I hope you don't mind, Sid, but I've also added the file to my list of Commodore software resources on my blog. The direct link to the .d81 is here, it is also available by going to my blog at: istilladoremy64.chorusgrove.com/ and selecting Media from the navigation menu, to the left. If you'd rather not me sharing the disk image on my site, Sid, just say the word and I'll remove it. Thanks so much for the update to this excellent utility! David

No that's fine. I'm glad to see that there's even been any interest in it, actually. -l8r

As usual, once I release something into the wild, it loves to run back first and kick me in the face. It's about that kill command. It will work fine as long as you've used it to disable RAMDOS at least once. If the system has been freshly booted and you have not started RAMDOS yet; "kill" at this point will cause a break into the monitor. The pokes within KILL can be viewed from within the monitor because it's a DOSEDIT creation. Two of them are at 63633/34 and the other was to restore drive 8 as a system drive. That low/high combo usually points to 8192, but if RAMDOS is active it points somewhere else. It will work the way it is just don't mess with it before you start RAMDOS that first time.

I'd like to know if any of you know about *any* sort of of 1541 floppy speeder (driver) that works in 128 mode- if you know of one, and can give me a link to it I will see about speeding up the 1541 in 128 mode- or better yet do it yourself! Your program can be added to the disk if it can be installed like RAMDOS was with a patch. It's not that I'm lazy to do it myself, I'm just out of touch with where everything can be found. So please if you know of any 1541 floppy speeders then perhaps you will join me in my ongoing quest to make for an even-better experience for C128 users who have only the most rudimentary equipment. Soon I will release the source code. It it is in "Hypra-Ass" format- a little-known Assembler here in America. I will post some link to the D64 file as soon as it is ready (along with any and all assembly instructions).

By the way if I am to post in other message forums it is only right to change my name- so I'll name it the same thing I name my SSID in case you're ever in a 30 foot range, heh.
Like anyone cares. Still, it's only fair to give a fair warning - I am Wsoft here but to anywhere else in the forum I will use sidswlan because my email is sidswlan@gmail.com. Otherwise, if it concerns this ancient program I can put on the old name at any time so just beware there *is* a Dr. Jeckyll and that he only comes out when there's enough coffee on the stove.

I choose to no-longer fight my cancer. I already told all my Doctors to screw off twice this month. Instead, I choose to let it be God's "head's Up" that I'm coming in for a crash landing.
I never asked to be here, and I really messed things up along the way. Just ask my ex, or my children.
I'm sorry for my bad things.
Oops, here I come

Thanks for the heads up before I get a bad rap. It looks like I'm going to have to send the d81 out there again as I must have deleted that little zip file (I can't get it at MixTape.com either) I'll just use ZippyShare again but the link may not be valid more than a month or two- www44.zippyshare.com/v/gPXWWJ6c/file.htmlHi friend, is there any chance you can repost this REV102118 please. Link is outdated. thanks Phil
