In case you missed it I made some KERNAL and BASIC ROM patches to speed up testing.
They don't print the full message, skip checking for internal and external ROMs and Drive boot sector check.

Ozi, You might be able to gain a little more speed on boot if you remove the bytecopies to phantom ram near the start of init. If you have already, then disregard this reply. =) . fe0cd a0 03 ldy #$03 ; i haven't triple-checked but I think it's as simple as changing this #$03 to #$01. ; only thing that realistically provides (if wanted) the missing ram blocks is VICE, ; except for the very few double MMU ram block mods out there.
