>> PLEASE NOTE :: I will update this post as new or untested information/software becomes available. <<
There may be software which I have missed so far. There's also software I'm aware of but I haven't tried personally (CBM Command, CPM271.168K - a "CP/M <-> CBM" transfer program), so I will await constructive comments on these. For now, I'm additionally ignoring kludges like "CPM LOADER" which (IIRC) is a C128 mode memloader that walks you through on how to restore the data in-place after booting to CP/M.
I made most of the 64-128-CP/M native software available at : csdb.dk/release/?id=171968&show=summary#summary
Nowadays, most "CP/M 128" activity is likely on emulators. Emulators are not compliant with hardcore MFM apps as yet. Therefore, the most useful apps on that list for daily file manipulations under emulation may be 64COPY/DIRMASTER/CTOOLS in combination with the emulators themselves. Like many earlier tools involving CP/M on the 128, CTOOLS is limited to .d64 and .d71 images. Despite this limitation, CTOOLS and the others can handle most of your xfer needs between the three operational modes of the 128. ... and let's not forget native and non-native archive compressors (PMARC) and filesplitters which can ease some of the pain involved in transferring voluminous data.
Cheers !
