Just for something to do, as we spent several days watching the rain coming down outside, I wrote myself a program to record my gaming hi-scores. At first, I created the program in Commodore BASIC 2.0. But, after I did that, I decided to tweak it a bit for my C128. I'm no guru at programming in BASIC, but I enjoyed myself, putting this program together; and it actually works for what I wanted it to do. So, if anyone here would like to try it (perhaps maybe even find it useful), then by all means go ahead. The disk image contains both the C64 and C128 versions. Load 64GAME for the C64 and 128GAME for the C128. Here's a link to a review I wrote for it, as well as the disk image: GameLogger Reviewgamelogger.d64 (170.75 KB)

I forgot to include this in the presentation of C128 programs we had at the last FCUG meeting. When we have our next full meeting, I will try to show it off. Well, only do so if you think it's worthy of the attention! Thanks, Robert!

Truly, Robert Bernardo Fresno Commodore User Group www.dickestel.com/fcug.htmRobert, I just wanted to mention that I've added a new version of the program to the disk image. I decided to create an 80 column version, for the C128. So, the following disk image (which is also available on my blog) has an additional program called 1280GAME. Run this program for a better experience in 80 column mode. The program will also automatically put the C128 in 80 column mode, if it isn't doing so already. So, you may wish to download this updated disk image. gamelogger.d64 (170.75 KB) David.

Hey I checked it out and this is great. Nice job @virtualsky! Well, thank you very much! You're being far too kind. I know that my BASIC programming skills are not as efficient as they could be. The next thing I want to do is figure out how to sort the records alphabetically.
