I was recently looking for a good HTML page discussing SAM for the C64, but after 30~45 minutes I gave up. There was one page which seemed to be a text conversion of the SAM manual (which is okay, but not good in my opinion) and many stupid/simple web pages that only gave a few brief paragraphs about this amazing software. If you've never experienced SAM on your C64, then you can invoke him on most modern versions of Windows (i.e., Win 2000 or newer.) Just press key combination Windows+U on your keyboard and enable text-to-speach from the "System Utilities" menu. Like SAM on the C64, you can customize the (Windows) SAM via parameters such as pitch and speed. Windows SAM sounds almost identical (my opinion) to C64 SAM. So yeah, I find it amazing it is hard to find a good web page about classic/C64 SAM. Do you know of one? Do tell, thanks! I toyed around with the idea of a C128 version several years ago, but it was before I had a good underdstanding of BASIC on the C128. I think I could port it to the C128 today, but unfortunately I'm working on several other projects so I don't have the time. Anyway, please post your thougts on the subject... hopefully somebody will beat me to it, but if you guys (girs?) keep slacking off, I'll have to do it myself someday

Yeah, the 'samdoc.txt' is the best one I found. But is a simple user manual, not really talking about how it works (except in passing and not detailed). Now the C version looks very interesting, thanks for that.
