My user name is no longer recognized in that forum.
It seems to me that having two forums discussing pretty much the same subjects is somewhat counterproductive.
I think VDC 8x2 and Blacklord should get together and combine into 1.

I have some time to plan for July 2017. But I am thinking I will bring few things. Maybe my Amiga again and my C128DCR.
Regarding hauling stuff, for me, of course the heavy items are the CRT monitors. But for others, like Sajtron, that brought tons of music related gear maybe is a little more challenging. We are just going to have to help each other.
I probably will stay at the California only for convenience. Also I'll be able to stay all day Sunday next year. Cool.

I am not sure I fully understand the thing about being charged by the hours. What happens to the stuff left Saturday overnight?
The California is a nice hotel. Last July I checked it out and the rooms were a little bit more affordable that the Plaza.
I ended up staying at the Fremont (which also was a little bit more affordable) only because of the walking distance to the convention.
Fremont also offered a discount for breakfast at their restaurant / café.

It's a good website. Very simple and concise, with all the information needed. Thank you.

My keyboard has one missing. The one in the middle front. And another one is always falling off and I am afraid I will loose it. I wouldn't mind change them all with new replacements.

What about good replacement feet for the C128D keyboard. Do you know of / have any?
Thank you.

Or you could take it to L.V. and put it in the raffle. Nope, something far bigger and heavier is going to be put in the raffle. And this one won't fit a suitcase. Back in California, Robert Bernardo Fresno Commodore User Group www.dickestel.com/fcug.htmJuly 30-31 Commodore Vegas Expo v12 - www.portcommodore.com/commvexWe are driving to L.V. with the Altima. Would it fit in the trunk?

CBM engineer Bil Herd has no C128DCR; he's always said that the West Germans took his original C128 creation and modified it. I have the idea to gift the board to him. Odd, but seems to be true. It was mentioned somewhere else, or maybe he said it, that the 128D was made in the US for the European market and the 128DCR was made in Germany for the US market.
