I am looking for a little help in using Peeks and Pokes in a Basic program. I used Basic 8 to create three programs to graphically display data for Blood pressure/Sugar monitor and Local Temperature. In all three programs I use a small subroutine to display averages to one decimal place. In the Programmers Programming Reference manual there are several locations that reference positions after the decimal point. How do I use Peeks and Pokes to set this to one decimal place? any help would be appreciated. Long live the 128

Assuming the 9.6ms is the period of a frequency Then convert the 2.2KHz to its period. The period of 2.2kHz is 1/2200= .4545454545ms. Therefor 9.6ms-.4545454545ms=9.145454545ms

I should have gone to AMC in the first place. It appears that I was wrong and it has been picked for a third season. Sorry for the wrong info.

RIP Halt and Catch Fire. It appears that the AMC show Halt and Catch Fire is no more. I don't think that we will see ever again a TV show that features any vintage Commodore computer. Sorry to see you go.

The problem that I had with the HP Deskjet 500 was that the printer resolution could be set to 75 DPI or 300 DPI. So at 75DPI the printout would be at about 2/3 smaller than the screen. It is my understanding that GEOS or Wheels prints at 60 DPI. Even older inkjet printers print at higher resolutions. I do use a serial to parallel adapter.

Has any one used an Inkjet printer for Wheels 128 or GEOS 2.0 for the 128? at one time I was able to use an HP 500 but it would shrink the page to 2/3 of the page. Any help would be appreciated.

I would agree that the display does not look authentic, however it is still very cool.

I don't know if anyone watches Halt and Catch Fire on AMC, but you should watch it. It is about the computer industry in the 80's. On the last show the Commodore 64 was featured prominently in an on line gaming company. Kind of cool to see the C64 in such a predominant role .

Do you have your expanded 1764 REU? If so, have you tried it in Geos or Wheels. I a standard 1750 to swap if you want.
