Ray is a good guy. Last year I sent him 3 128s that were non-functioning, and 3 1571 drive mechs only, pulled from 128Ds. He successfully fixed 2 of the 128s, and 2 1571s. The 3rd 1571 was too far gone, and he gave up on the 3rd 128 after after week. Either way, I ended up with 2 extra 128s and putting 2 128Ds back into use.

Just a FYI - While I've been posting about this on the Commodore 128 FB forum, it occured to me that I never posted it here: cbm128.com/c128/This is an archive I've created for capturing original C128 software as G64s/D64s from the original disks. The software hasn't been 'cracked' in any way, so you may need to write them back as G64s (I use Zoomfloppy + 1571 and OpenCBM) to get them to work. Enjoy.

While I was doing a Net search for homebrew games, I came across the 2013 game, Bomberland. www.rgcd.co.uk/2013/10/bomberland-c64-2013.htmlThe interesting bit is that it is enhanced for the C128 - "The game also supports the Commodore 128 in 64 mode, using its extended hardware registers for acceleration." Another one to add to the list of C128 enhanced games, Robert Bernardo Fresno Commodore User Group www.dickestel.com/fcug.htmInteresting. I should do a comparison on what it's like with or without a 128.
