Still, to determine the original assembler used to assemble the source we need to see more code. Labels and assembler directives, like org or section declarations for example. The syntax will provide hints.

*=$9700
tabl = * siz .word 1024
and..
strpnt = $50 sat = $4e
it very similar to 64tass, but uses..
tag1 .byt 0
instead of..
tag1 .byte 0
labels are plain..
output = $1300
it doesnt use ":" colons after labels.
I dont know what else I should post. It will do things like
clear = 17
then throughout you'll see.
lda #clear
I'll post whatever you'd want to see.. it compiled, but while running it, i keep getting the same INIT error, the remote end times out after 10 tries, and it aborts.
It's "Zmodem" for aa c= telecom app. I'm simply trying to get SEND working. I stripped out all RECEIEVE code, took my time. no crashes, the receive end autoo ques, but this timeout error's driving me crazy..

- modify your assembler to handle simple expressions like "256-1" - post a link here to zmod.txt which is the original - \z is just as valid as \n or \r, not sure if it's ^z or NULL. - it would be useful if you would post what happens when your version of the code runs. ZNACK vs ZFILE?

Jonez, Thats the error I'm stuck at. Syncterm goes into receive mode, attempts 10 timeouts to either get ZFILE or ZFIN but ZNACK doesn't change over. And it happens so fast, i cannot read anything on syncterms end, except the last 5 timeouts.. I am handling the negative numbers, so thanks.. i posted how i did it, but not sure if that's correct or not.

i wasnt aware i needed to post all 40k just too see how to adapt, exactly what i posted, to 64tass.. or any other compiler. I'm not the only 64tass user you know?

So, i applied 10% speed in VICE, and syntyerm isnt getting the filename, but as of right now, i think filename is after ZNACK... so what i told you 2 days ago, Jonez, still holds true.. it doesnt crash, and ive more than likley left the c= side sit for 45seconds? 1 min, and it doesn't abort.. when i press the C= key, it returns control to basic... HELP instead of instructions is more valuable. You Know?

Quick question for anybody reading, i have 6 ZP pointers for the c64, that I'd like to find there c128 counter parts. I believe there all non crucial, but i'm not that good.. zrub0 = $6c zrub1 = $6d zcrce = $68 zcrcg = $69 zcrcq = $6a zcrcw = $6b the c64PRM shows $68 as BITS $69 as ARGEXP then $6a-$6d show as ARGHO if this is important ZP pointers, that need correlated correctly, anyone.. please chime in. My c128PRM isnt showing anything equivalent.. or do i just need 6 free bytes of memory to repair this? -Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
