It was very busy July so for now I've finished TRIANGULAR μOS 1.08 for Commodore PET. It's first installment of TRIANGULAR μOS revisited series where I make μOS version to work in standard file naming scheme file.ext[ension] vs old file>ext[ension] and WORDS saves files in .txt file format instead of >doc or .doc. Link: www.lemon64.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=996078It takes some time because I've transferred code to CBM prog Studio. I hope to finish soon ultimate version for VIC-20, C64 and create new for Plus/4. Then I will go back to TRIANGULAR μOS for Commodore 128. bjonte: I don't plan to adapt compilers at this point, because it would complicate my development environment and I want to create TRIANGULAR μOS in BASIC interpreters

It just turns on 2 MHz to speed up BASIC. I will have to check it, But how it is running in 2MHz on VIC-II mode? Meanwhile I've finished and published version TRIANGULAR μOS 1.11 and 1.16 for Commodore VIC-20 (which are revisited versions 1.10 and 1.12 respectively). Version 1.11 has new video. Check it here: www.lemon64.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=79488What left is version 1.17, 1.18 and 1.19 for VIC-20 (this should go faster since there less and less source code bas file to check and correct) and version for C64, new version for Plus/4 and 1.36 for C128 and TRIANGULAR μOS will enter series 1.40x with TRIANGULAR μOS 1.40 frr C128

I will have to check it, But how it is running in 2MHz on VIC-II mode? It just turns it on in the border. Try it. You can load and start it from BASIC so it’s easy to embed with the OS.

bjonte: Sounds interesting, I will check it.
Meanwhile I've finished and published all versions of TRIANGULAR μOS for Commodore VIC-20 (1.11, 1.16, 1.17, 1.18 and 1.19). With PET version it is 2/3rds of work and that leaves C64 and Plus/4 version before going back to normal programming, that is TRIANGULAR μOS for C128.

I've launched TRIANGULAR μOS website: triangular-uos.blogspot.com/TRIANGULAR μOS 1.09 for PET is available (slightly updated documentation, GAMES folder content changed and 3 new games: LUNAR LAND RATRUN and MAD BOMBER. So it has all games from μOS 1.03 (dual boot 4 / 8 KB version from before VIC-20 development).
Soon there will be video for μOS 1.09 (hopefully with voice narration) and I'm figuring out how to setup file server for upcoming download files. Next I will just reupload μOS VIC-20 versions 1.11 - 1.19 (no change to system disk, just slight changes to documents) and upload new videos with voice narration. Robert old version 1.10/VIC is called 1.11 after fixes (this version requires unexpanded VIC-20 with 5KB of total RAM). Old 1.11/VIC is just halfway to 1.12/VIC so I reused it's number, since there isn't much space in 1.10 - 1.19 range. And old 1.12/VIC is 1.16 now (8 KB [5 KB + 3 KB]), 1.13/VIC is 1.17 (13 KB [5 KB + 8 KB]), 1.14/VIC is 1.18 (21 KB [5 KB + 16 KB]) and finally 1.15/VIC is 1.19 now (8 KB [29 KB + 24 KB]).C64 version is virtually finished and bug fixed - besides required changes (filename system, etc.) it just adds sprite start menu since there is only space for 2 sprites in area that I designated for them. Still figuring out CBM-II version (only P or 500 series since it has VIC-II chip and should be relatively easy transferable from C64, plus probably I would have to scrap sprites and add some text games, but this will do half work for Plus/4 version). Still I've didn't figured out which number I will give to then (1.26 for C64, 1.27 for CBM-II and 1.28 for Plus/4 or 1.28 -1.29?? Not long ago I've planed to out 1.36 and start 1.40 development this month (August), but regrettably I have only tiny amount of time for TRIANGULAR μOS recently.

Truly, Robert Bernardo Fresno Commodore User Group - www.dickestel.com/fcug.htmSouthern California Commodore & Amiga Network - www.portcommodore.com/sccanIt will be at newly launched TRIANGULAR μOS website: triangular-uos.blogspot.comIt's still in development and only have 1 post about TRIANGULAR μOS 1.09. Unfortunately recently I'm so busy that I don't have any time for it. Hopefully, as September progresses I will be able to scrap so me time to finish all those promised tasks. In future all version for various Commodore computers will be covered there. I plan to update it as I move along with those releases. Thus version for PET needs video and expanding it into TRIANGULAR μOS for Commodore PET post where all PET versions PET will be covered in form of standard changelog from 1.00 to 1.09 with links to download their system disks and SDK). Same will be implemented for VIC-20 (just simple re-release of 1.11 and 1.16 to 1.19 with slightly updated User's Manual and SDK documents, system disk will not be touched). Next will be versions for C64 (virtually ready), CBM-II and Plus/4. Then 1.36 for C128 and I will start 1.40 development. So in end all TRIANGULAR μOS series will be available on this website where you will be able download recent or any older version of it.
