Hi!
My maybe stupid idea is adding to my program C128 SYSTEM INFORMATION recognizing between C128, C128D and C128DCR. Check between 128/128D and DCR is easy by reading VDC revision - DCR has MOS 8568 VDC instead 8563 - they're not interchangeable so is not possible to exchange it. And also hardware is other than 128 or 128D... But problem is checking between 128 and 128D. You maybe read thread about checking D/DCR 1571's CPU...
If I try to check KERNAL it's not enough - KERNAL can be replaced for example by JiffyDOS.
So, Q is: How to check between 128 and 128D?
Thanks to everybody who has idea and want to share it.

That is a very good question! The DCR has different chips, so testing is not difficult. But as I understand (I do not own) the C128-D is simply a flat C128 motherboard with 1571 board, all put into a single case. Because there is no way to interrogate the case, this seems impossible! But maybe there is very subtle difference that I do not know...
