Recently I tried/wanted to add a link to the original "BASIC 8" by Walrus Software to my website... obviously I am 100% biased when I say "it is good but not compatible"...
Compatible or not... I have been REALLY annoyed to not find a link to a disk image for this software...
I would love to publish a link to this software (D64) and also documentation...
Just so everybody can try/compare Walrus' v8.0 with my v7.80... really I don't care about the "winner"... I just want a good link to a D64/D71/G64 of BASIC 8 that will work... for historical reasons (...let the user decide which is best!)
(I've searched Google for almost an hour now, but no luck)

Thank you buzbard, I guess now I need to update my website like I said... I really should stop creating work for myself [Edit]
I've updated my website, and gave a link back to c-128.freeforums.netI guess I should talk more about the pros of BASIC 8 instead of the cons... it just really annoys me that it is so cool yet so incompatible with standard BASIC (despite the fact it supports nearly all BASIC 3.5/7.0 commands) Well, at least there is another reference on the web for this amazing piece of software! [/Edit]
