Non CBM related, but I just wanted to report that although FireFox seems to be a stable web browser (and important for me, supports "offline viewing"), it is much slower than either Google Chrome or Microsoft Internet Explorer.
As much as I like to bash MS, I must admit their web browser performs faster than FireFox...
But so far, FireFox is the only modern web browser that integrates "offline viewing" with casual web surfing... err... I am stuck between a dork and a slow place? Your thoughts?

I think firefox has the slowest rendering engine of the three. I still use it the most though.

I only use Firefox, especially for the sync of bookmarks. But also, I run GNU/Linux

Thanks for all your replies!!
I was worried something was corrupt with my system because FireFox was obviously slower to me (a human)... when a human can perceive a time difference, there is OBVIOUSLY serious issue(s) with the computer code! I'll keep testing FireFox, because "offline viewing" is important to me (and as far as I can see, impossible with modern versions of Chrome/IE)

Thanks for the link... I only installed FireFox last week... only add-on is "offline browsing". I don't think I need/want to reset FireFox... are there any benefits?
