I am sure people have seen my Boulder Dash on the VDC, my aborted attempt ant Spy Hunter too.
Well I wanted to do an original game more suited to the talents of the 128 and VDC, I decided on an isometric game similar to Alien-8.
Sadly, I can't draw. I have all the artistic talent of a cluster of colourblind hedgehogs... in a bag. So I am asking if anybody has existing mono tiles I can use. I can't use colour (VDC limits) but will have a nice 640x200 screen to play with using a 16x16 pixel tile set (4 characters per). I intend to make a software sprite for the main character.
The idea is a Star Wars themed game where you play a Gonk droid. Simple to draw anyway
I will simply call the game Gonk. So, if anybody has talent and wants to contribute to this project (no recompense other than a feeling of good will!) please get in touch. I plan to publish all work produced for free to the community (not the source though, I am too messy for that).
