Hello! Updates for anyone who is interested in this. I just finished to assemble several prototype boards for Stingray. These are the Freedom NIC Ethernet and RTC board (for connecting to the internet) and standalone RTC board, these connect to the Freedom Expansion Unit's Clockport I think these boards are really cool. In my opinion, they are very excellent. I am excited and looking forward to see all the project finished. There will be more details to come Assembling FEU prototype boards Assembling FEU prototype boards Freedom Expansion Unit for the Commodore C64 and Commodore C128 FEU RTC FEU RTC Freedom NIC + RTC Freedom NIC + RTC

Hello all fellow Commodore users, please have a look at a quick video of an update of the Freedom Expansion Unit. Stingray has added rudimentary disk drive emulation to the prototype. We are getting there

Stingray and I have made a video update of our FEU (Freedom Expansion Unit) We show the prototype of RTC Clockport board. You can also see a simple example of the FEU disk drive emulation when I load Giana Sisters 30th Anniversary Preview by The 7A3. The FEU is still in development so please look forward to the improvements that will come.

I had a snapshot v5 when I was at school in Toronto and I remember it using the VDC RAM... vaguely remember using the 80 columns in its term mode, too -- but I might have that 80c thing mixed up... it's been 25+ yrs. But no direct usable 128 mode that I know of...

Will there be an internal front end software-wise? If so, any previews of the features?

Your 128 keyboard is yellowed. Try disassembling the case and keys then soak all plastic parts in a mixture of hydrogen peroxide and water. I learned that from YouTube, so the credibility and thanks for this is all theirs <G>

Hi COLORADO dude, there will be some type of front end/menu system. Yes I know the keyboard is yellowed but that is the least priorities at the moment and it still plays Giana-Sisters perfectly even though the keys are yellowed
