Whilst I was scanning over details of our favourite VDC chip I came across a reference to this: Its a MOS2568 and from what I can tell seems to be similar to the 8568. (Is the difference possibly the HMOS/CMOS process?) Does anyone have any information on this chip? Uncommon as the 8568VDC is, this chip seems to be ultra rare. I cannot find any references to it on the net, apart from the MOS wiki, where there is just the above picture. I bet Robert B. knows a man who knows.....

Yeah. Or even anyone who was involved with the design of the MOS VDC IC's.
