Did the C64/128 ever get a decent C compiler? Better still, was there a good one that worked for the VDC?
Or were the decent 'mature' ones only later realized on the 16-bit machines?
All I can find are the C64 (or 128 in 64 mode) Power C and CC65.
CC65 seems the one to go for, especially as I would want some sort of cross platform compatability.
And if anyone wrote any C libraries (games focused especially) then it would be great to see them. Does anyone know of any?
Im actually looking to see if C on the 128 is feasable for writing games or perhaps being targeted by a cross compiler!

FWIW: I OWNED the rights to Power C64 and Power C128, I bought it from a Boston MA company. I released it as free ware over 10 years ago.
