At yesterday's SCCAN meeting, there was interest in how I got the Commodore to sing "Happy Birthday" in that Commodore commercial. So, for CommVEx, I will bring the three different word processors -- the Write Stuff 128, the Write Stuff 64, and the Write Stuff 64 with BB Talker. Then attendees can play around with WS64/BB Talker. As for blanking out the screen when BB Talker was singing, SCCAN member Matt B. told me that the C64 was stealing cycles from the processor in order to talk/sing. I then asked what would happen if I attached the SuperCPU and let BB Talker do its thing. He said it would probably speed up the talking/singing. An experiment to do at CommVEx! See you at CommVEx!
