Awesome link, thanks for sharing! Only thing I don't see in their product/kit is how the on-screen-menu buttons are brought out of the case. Well, I have never tried GBS-8200 (seems more PAL-safe), but for sure the GBS-8220 (NTSC good, PAL unreliable) has on-screen menu buttons that need a very special case design (personal experience)...
Well I guess you could configure the GBS-82X0 before assembling the case... and then you would not have to worry about the menu buttons...

I finally got off my lazy butt and joined here, having given up on the original c128 forum ever returning.
The C128 80 column DAC I sell is indeed Richard42's design, as I asked his permission to continue to make them, after he had finished his run. It works quite well, with the slight drawback of requiring the somewhat large and expensive GBS-82xx board. I'm selling completed boards, kits, and PCBs, but I plan to stop selling completed boards, soon, due to lack of spare time. I've sold over 50 of these things, and that really amazes me.
I'd love to see a more integrated design, and I like the plastic shell that c4nnonf0dder put together. It'd probably be pretty easy to create a 3D printable design, in 2 halves, but I don't have a printer.

Welcome alexander, Thanks for re-producing Richard42's design. Although more expensive / complex than my simple diode (pull-both) design, it is a very good (err, superior?) method to convert true RGBI into psudo(CGA-style)-RGB. Congratulations on selling over 50 of your CGA/Richard42 converters (for lack of a better name) !! Yeah, building a nice/custom case is the one/main (only?) thing that has stopped me from going into FULL SCALE production. Creating industrial molds is not cheap, and I never had enough orders to justify such a thing... but with your 50+ orders, you are far closer than I ever was.... So congradulations on kicking my ass in the "retro-modern video converter" arena!
