Whoa! Switchable?! Well, I suppose you'd have to build a board that has both the 8566 and 8564 chips and have that board be able to switch between the 2 chips. The same goes for the crystal; you'd have to have the PAL and NTSC-speed crystals and have a way to switch between the two. Oh, sounds great, but i dont have the skills to do this :-( Who want to do this? ;-) I would spend the some chips and crystals for more than one board.
