Hello
Can the commodore 128 handle up to 20 mb disk file? If so, what type of file extension is it?
Thanks

The 128 doesn't care what is on the other end of the IEC bus, what it handles is up to it. So you can make an SD2IEC give a 2GB SD card and the 128 doesn't care and will read what ever you tell it to from it.
The HD such as the CMD HD or the Rear Admiral don't really have file extensions for the whole drive.

Since the files are just linked blocks you can make as many links you want. So as long as the file fits on the storage medium, it can be read without problems. The is no file length limit apart from the directory listing that will be incorrect if the file exceeds 65535 blocks.
