Hi!
Yesterday I got CRT monitor Hansol with VGA input. I was very anxious and had expectations to test of my lightpen, later lightgun. I connected C128 VIC output by Composite to VGA adapter via HDMI converter and at the end via HDMI to VGA adapter... Tried my VIC lightpen demo - nothing working. Then I connected VDC output by CGA to VGA adapter. Tried VICE tests disk with lightpen/gun demo - rows were balancing around correct values, but incorrect, columns were not so correct. Then I tried my VIC lightgun demo and using lightpen didn't shoot target, so I was frustrated and lightgun tested not.
Here's Q:
Is possible to use lightpen or ligtgun only with original for Commodore 64/128 made CRT monitors? Or where I do mistake? Too high amount of signal conversions?
Thank you for all ideas to solve it.

Hi!
I'm working with RTC and I'm able to set RTC in CIA, but I want to be able to set RTC also to Basic variable TI$... Looking at TI$, it's string variable with length 6 characters in format HHMMSS and is impossible to set it in other length, value of hour >23 sets TI$ to 0, minute >59 sets TI$ to 0, second can have values 00-99 but seconds >59 adds minute... only characters 0-9 are usable (in Basic it reports error, in assembler can be only checked if is correct).
So, mismatch makes it clear = "000000"
But how to access TI$? Where in RAM is its value?
Thank you for every help, reply or comments.

Hi!
I'm searching for solution how to get full size of each my mass storage devices: CMD-HD IEC-ATA 64HDD
Removable drives is easy to check by type. IEC-ATA shows at end of directory free MB, I ask also creator of firmware - Jochen Adler (aka NLQ) 64HDD it can display but not in all cases, so I ask also Nick Coplin (64HDD creator) But CMD-HD is big problem. It can have used partitions and unused, they can have really independent order also can be other than native - so here I see not solution.
So, I'm asking: Is any way how to get full capacity of HDD inside CMD-HD?
Thank you for every help, reply or comments.

Easier way and memory cost less is Kernal PLOT routine usable also in Basic:
Assembler ldx #row ldy #column clc jsr $fff0 (65520) ... [do print routine]
Basic SYS65520,,row,column,0:PRINT"anything"

Robert, I created longer time ago "Z80 CPU check" for beware problems with SuperCPU. That code is written in instructions so, if is Z80 active it jumps into Z80 mode and write flag, if not it does "nothing" and flag is not affected...
I have no idea what to check, sometimes are few instructions possible to create it, but I need to know what to check - or - is MMU config enough? I mean not - or?

Hi!
Q is simple but useful solution is unknown. Why?
ML of 8502 and Z80 is different so universal ML program exist not. It can be by any indicator or CPU status or if has C128 any memory address where it is indicated?
All ideas, suggestions and help is welcome.

Hi!
I know some information about G64 and X64, but know nothing about P64 and D67 is for me mystery...
What I need to know: - capacity - compatibility with drives - usage
Especially D67 all - I found it in VICE Disk Image create menu and really found not program which works with... name looks like (D6)4 and D(7)1 - like 1541 mode of 1571 or 1570...
Thank you for explanation.
