Hi all,
Thanks for these forums - I´ve been lurking on here for a while and the wealth of information has been a great help with my newfound interest in assembly programming on my beloved C128.
Anyway - I was wondering if anyone here has had any experience working with Power Assembler/Buddy - the E-buddy version with the full screen editor on the C128? There are a few things I can't find information on after searching here and the internet quite extensively and I'm curious if you guys can help me out:
* ED randomly crashes upon start. I.e - when re-entering E-buddy with the command ED the editor freezes. Pressing runstop/restore returns me to the basic ready prompt so I can try to enter the editor again by typing ED. * Does anyone know if it's possible to set the window size in the editor or remove the vertical split entirely? 80 columns length would be more useful than 40 + 40. * Does anyone have a complete memory map of where e-buddy resides and works? The documentation I´ve found is sketchy at best.
Any help would greatly appreciated!
... yes... I am aware that cross development is much more modern and efficient. But working on the original hardware is a big part of the enjoyment when programming assembler for me.

Hi z91eca, I have a C-128 and I use Buddy 64/128 v10 on the C64C. Haven't tried it on the C-128. I will see if I have the same problems with item 1. Will look into item 2 and 3.
