I sent the VICE team word about the bug I encountered with the RL emulation's swap function just before New Years day. They posted my message in the form of some kind of thread and as of yet nobody has replied to it. Hopefully they will fix the issue soon. The swap commands are important because if you had swapped the RAMLink with device 8 and used WsDos to boot a program into 64 mode then that program could essentially write its saved game data or other stuff to the same partition and subdirectory.

From what I read, to file a bug report I had to spell the word VICE or something in the header of the email I sent, disclose my OS and version of Vice I was using ie the very same things that they say they need when I clicked on that link you just sent. Then of course you tell them what the problem is. They've been doing it that way for years. It worked that way in 2005 as well when I reported the REU $FF00 bug that they fixed by version 1.16. I've never heard of a "bug ticket", only a protocol for sending bug reports. I never received acknowledgement of the bug but like I said they made a thread about it.
