Hi!
Since I sold my 1581 I forgot to format disk in my FD-4000 as 1581 disk... I know how to format DD, HD, ED disks (emulator formats D1M, D2M, D4M) but today I was unable to format with FD-4000 diskette to 1581 format...
Can anybody help me with this stupidity? Really I feel very stupid for asking this Q...
And boys, maybe also girls: Everything succesfull and nice in new year wishes Miro!

Use the program "FCopy+" from CMD Utilities to format a 1581 disk. If you only have the disk that came with the drive, use "FD-Tools."

No, I meant any command like commands to format DD, HD and ED... not external program...

The instructions for command line formatting can be found in the FD-Series User's Manual, 4th edition, starting on page 40.

Thank you very much!
It' easy command like formatting DD, HD and ED... only needs to use 81:
OPEN 1,8,15: PRINT#1,"N0:DISKNAME,XX,81": CLOSE 1
and that's all.
