You need a board for hardware. Might also want sub-boards for popular things like video display, storage, and networking. Or maybe those sub-boards can wait until there is a large number of posts. Might also want a board for Buy & Sell, or News. Well I guess 'News' postings could go under General, but Buy & Sell probably should be seperate. Umm... Buy & Sell sounds too capitalistic for a Commie forum; might want to name it "Deal & Trade" instead ? Or something more creative

Maybe a links board. For instance, I think Jim Herne's C128 CP/M material and 1571 discussions might be handy here. I found his site indispensible in the early 90s when I was still interested in all things disk and data related. I remember Hydrophilic discussing some of the features of Juggler which I think comes from Herne originally. www.herne.com/cpm.htm

Yeah I got lots of CP/M info from them. Juggler, yeah I think it came from Herne Data Systems... is really nice if you have 1571/81... especially if you have CP/M disks from another computer. Wouldn't help much with 8 inch disks Secret feature will format DOS disks, but I don't think you can read/write them. This is probably due to CP/M not understanding FAT, not a problem with Juggler itself.

Now I remember. The Kaypro-II. A portahle cp/m machine. I was able to use the disks from it on the C128. Juggler was good for using the Osborne format that gave the most disk space. I think Wordstar even worked on the 128 but in monochrome.

Yeah, I was able to import several programs. Yes WORDSTAR! Also I remember the ZORK triligy. The default CP/M (without Juggler) knows a few foreign disk formats, but Juggler knows them all (well, almost).
