Okay Rob. Hope you guys have a good time at the SCCAN meeting tomorrow. What time does it start anyway? If I know, I can plan to be around in here at about the same time in case anyone has a question. If that's not good enough I also know a few decent jokes :/

I found a PDF I'd started to write about WsDos about a year ago. I think I'll work on this some more, but I'd like to know if I have whover's permission to use the pic of that disk posted previously as cover art. I assume that was Nonefornow.
PDFs are always easy to open and go- that's what I like most about them. This edition will likely not be illustrated with nude photos of Scarlett Johansson and may cause drowsiness.

Here a couple of pictures of WSDOS running on my C128DCR at the SCCAN meeting. Loaded from the SD2IEC.

I only hope I didn't screw anything up with the RAMLink code. Yeah it looks all right; you're viewing a directory but plug a RAMLink in. Can you even boot a file anymore? And what about the swap buttons, and does it still turn on Jiffydos in either mode? Those questions are the most pertinent to me at this time. And I would have liked to have been a fly on the wall at that meeting. Thanks for taking the time to make a real disk. Nothing compares to watching a REAL C128 load a file in just zip nada, in the face of the NAY sayers. haha. Nice shots . That computer of yours looks like brand new. Sell it to me (heh).

I extracted the "wsdos.cbm" file from the D81 and converted to PDF. Then print it as a booklet.
I took the title of the docs and used Avery template 5196 to make the label.
Note. In the diskette label I slightly changed to the title to:
Title: WSDOS 7.1 Author: Sid Davis Build: December 2017 Platform: C128 – C128D – C128DCR Original build date: V1.0 in early 1992 (likely February)
I can send you copy of everything if you have a place when I can upload.

You did a darn good job, may I add. I don't think I'll need a copy as I myself have no Commodore equipment to use it on. If it's okay with you I'll use that photo on the PDF project I'm working on. I'll see that you get written credit for it, if that's okay with you.

I'll tell you what. YOU go ahead and make the PDF... if you want. You already started the work. Hey don't expect any nude photos of Scarlett. I'm deleting that one. . Otherwise I can send you what I've already got up until now. It's a great replacement for sleeping pills. Here's a link in case the normal attachment didn't work (it doesn't look like it did): www.filedropper.com/wsdosAttachments:wsdos.pdf (333.58 KB)

First it said I used Windows. I'm using Linux I mean come on I only have XP as an alternate OS so I can run WinVICE and some games.
Now it says I am using a KIM-1.
Sounds like an upgrade to me.
