I have a C128 and purchased a uIEC/SD with daughtercard from Retro Innovations. It works rather well except I can't for the life of me figure out how to get the autoswap.lst file to work. I watched the youtube videos and read through a bunch of forums and website tutorials. Still doesn't work.
for example for California Games (in 64 mode) I...
copy the 2 d64 files and rename them 1.D64 and 2.D64 I create an autoswap.lst file and place the two file names in it. place everything on the SD card in a "Cal Games" folder Use FB to steer to the folder and 'Q' out I then hit 'forward' on the daughtercard and all I get is a constantly blinking green light. when I check the disk I'm in the Cal Games folder and can still see the autoswap.lst file and d64 files
I tried hitting the 'back' button but also get a constantly flashing green light the 'swap' button does nothing.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Try using all capital letters in the AUTOSWAP.LST file name.

Try using all capital letters in the AUTOSWAP.LST file name. I tried upper and lowercase. Did this for the autoswap file name as well as the names of the disks. Tried moving all files to the root dir and still no dice. I have no idea what I'm doing wrong. The file extensions all seem to be intact. Also, pressing 'forward' and 'back' together doesn't produce the autoswap file on the SD card. I wonder if there's an older version of firmware on the unit.

I wonder if there's an older version of firmware on the unit. Could be. Issue an @ command at startup if you have JiffyDOS. I think the version should show up.

So I figured it out and it turns out to be a boneheaded user error. I was using MAC textedit and was saving as rtf instead of plain text. I do want to thank you for trying to help and replying so quickly. The Commodore community is the coolest and has been ever since I banged around on my KIM-1 back in the day.
