Hi Robert,
Sorry a typed wrong. It is actually the 64C that came from Bogdan's estate. It has a keyboard where all the keycaps were removed. It does not have a power led, nor a psu, and it misses the screws to close it up. I am restoring it little by little and it will be ready for CLASS 2020.
We'll look at the A2000 tomorrow. The only thing I could not get working is the disk drive. Maybe it just need to be replaced completely.

The 2020 CLASS will be a blast. Now I am planning to bring:
C64 - the one from our SCCAN member - just waiting for the LED light and screws to close the case. C128DCR with ramlink - my trusted-super accessorized computer A1000 - my other old time computer A2000 - newest member of my collection which I got at DTLA. I should be able to have this in good working order by next April.

Very nice Robert. Are you the creator / administrator?

In term of speed improvements - I am now using GEOS128 from a .D81 off the SD2IEC with a RAMLink, which includes JiffyDOS 16MB RAM and a RTC.

I used for a while the C128 ROM version in the internal socket. A member here actually was kind enough to give to me. The main issue with the internal socket is that it provides read only capability. Meaning if you change you set up you have to use an external version of GEOS to re-run the "config" file. A generic ROM will not have your personal set up and in my case I needed to run the "config" file every time. The booting was faster but because of the set up it actually defeated the purpose.
I do not know if the socket in the 1750 REU is read only, or would allow savings of the "config" settings.

Thank you Robert that is very good. Toolbox LA is a nice space for the event. Is it in the same room as last year? Similar settings?
