Here we go... a new, commercial game for the Commodore 128! It is Attack of the PETSCII Robots! Released earlier for the C64, VIC-20, and PET, the C128 version makes use of the C128's extra memory space, uses burst load with a 1571 or 1581 drive, makes use of the full C128 keyboard, and has dual monitor mode (map screen in 80-columns at the same time as main screen in 40-columns). Priced from $10 to $50 US (options from digital download to autographed box with physical disks), Attack of the PETSCII Robots C128 is available at

A game that makes dedicated use of C128 hardware, to show improved 40 columns output! With the exception of a superCPU, I don't think any existing HW add-on would allow you to achieve the same result on a c64?
It just makes me wonder what games 'of the day' would have benefited from the extra memory and faster copies. Things like AD&D games with their maps and graphics? I believe PETSCII Robots c128 shows the difference between REU-swapping (too slow) or GeoRam (only 255 bytes access) vs. the C128 MMU and an extra bank of memory.
(drifting off into c128 1985 nostalgia-mode ... )

for the improved graphics, a REU would do it just fine, if not finer. But nothing will help you get a second map screen. Well there are some 80 column carts one could use but the REU would be in the way..
