If you need someone else to test and write some code, here I am! I have two msx graphic processors stored in the shelf only for this, so when you have some more spare time for this project I will be glad to give some help

Sorry, no news. I spent the last little while working on my ColourPET with internal colour CRT monitor so I could show it at the World of Commodore show this year. Bil Herd was the guest speaker at the show and I got a chance to demo the ColourPET to him!
Anyway, my VYM/VYMS64 cart will be more of a priority now.

Just to say, saw some photos. That is one AWESOME PET. Love the work, the idea, the execution, everything. Great work.

It's taken me much longer than planned but I can now say I have something that matches my original vision of a what a real Commodore ColourPET might have looked like if it had been finished and marketed. Still a few things to clean up, but I'm pretty happy with the outcome. Been updating my webpage today. I gave out one "ColourPET-40/Dual" pcb at the show, so maybe you'll see another in the future ;-) Steve

sjgray I just found some interesting stuff on a project named F18A. Basically is an FPGA implementation of VDP which is also used in another project called AppleTi. The interesting thing is that the Apple II is 6502-based, so it could be a good start point in interfacing our 6510 with this chip (be it the original one or the fpga one). I'll paste a couple of links that can be a lot more informative than what I can write here.

sjgray , any news about this project? I'm hoping to get back to it soon. Didn't get much done after World of Commodore due to holiday season plus family colds and things. Just starting to get back into Commodore stuff. Been working on a major update to my CBMXfer program that I want to release this month. Yes, I do tend to jump from one project to another ;-) Steve
