Its been years since I've used a cassette to load programs, and I might be confusing the c64 with the Tandy CoCo series... does the cassette deck hook up through the serial port?

Also, can I use a program like audiotap to output programs from my pc''s audio port to my 128 and then save to disk?

To load from PC you need some kind of hardware that is connected to the cassette port, like the C64 SD Princess.

I know with the CoCos you can input directly to the serial port via line out. Was hoping the same woukd be true here. Oh well, I will keep waiting foe the sd adapter to arrive.
