Thanks for sharing. Is that your TI-99 in maker fair pics? What is in the expansion box? The only TIs I seen growing up were in the stores. Sometimes they had a display with several of the expansion side cars all connected together. I think you needed a desk that was 12 feet wide. lol.

Is that your TI-99 in maker fair pics? Yes, that is. It's one of the "stepchildren", because I'm really a Commodore and Amiga person. The Peripherals Expansion Box (PEB) holds various cards (like memory), and of course, the disk drives. Heh, been there... done that. Right! Amiga 500's have that same sidecar expansion problem. "stepchildren". LOL!
Yeah, My Amiga 500 had a Supra RAM expansion which passed through to a Supra 500XP Hard Disk. And if you wanted to plug in an Action Replay to that haha you had yourself a long system.

Yeah, My Amiga 500 had a Supra RAM expansion which passed through to a Supra 500XP Hard Disk. And if you wanted to plug in an Action Replay to that haha you had yourself a long system. Long ago at an early Amiwest Show (2001?), I brought an A500 with sidecar RAM expander and then a Supra Turbo 28 accelerator. Very long and not always a reliable BUSS with so much hardware connected that way. The other stepchildren are two Atari 800XL's, an Apple IIGS, a classic Mac, and even one or two Timex 1000's. My friends keep giving me computers, even though I tell them I'm a Commodore/Amiga guy! My friends keep giving me computers, even though I tell them I'm a Commodore/Amiga guy! haha. Isn't it hard to say no to any classic computer? I had the same problem a while back when I had to unload my storage that was shared with a friend of mine. Not only did I have to unload my many boxes of Commodore stuff, but he wanted his stuff gone too, which included a dead 64 (which I repaired) and the 64c we ran our BBS with, a couple MPS printers, a couple Sony 17" Trinitron CRTs, (kept those) A Macintosh Performa setup, a PowerMac 8600, and his Amiga 2000, which had a battery bomb in it. Although I initially got that one to work, it is not working at the moment. For space I am probably going to get rid of that A2000 and my working one. I have a 500 and a 1200 and that is all I really need. I have an Apple IIgs, although it mostly sits on a shelf. I don't have any Atari or Timex computers. Mostly Commodore, Amiga, DOS PCs and Macintosh.
