Sadly I can't discuss what this is ultimately for, but lets just say something something cart something something 128 support something something.
Is anybody able to hook up a logic analyser and grab continuous accesses to an External Function ROM (I.e run some code from it) of a 128 in 2mhz mode.
So need
R/W ROML/H ( Depending upon which mode your ROM is ) Some of the address bus
Phi Data pins
as high resolution as you can?

Unfortunately I do not have an external function rom device, but I can provide you with measurements at the expansion port pins, using an internal function rom. The only difference would be that I will be measuring the /FROM1 signal instead of /ROML or /ROMH. Would that be of use to you? I can measure 16 signals at once. Also, the analyzer software runs only in Windows and is a 300MB download (I don't think screenshots will be enough for a good analysis).

I would think the signal timings on the internal would be very close to external as the all come off the PLA. Windows only is fine. It would be a great help.

Here is the datafile. I took one sample of The Servant ROM displaying the menu. I also included the 2MHz signal from the VIC-IIe. All signals are measured at the expansion port, except for 2MHz and /FROM1. My system is PAL, so Phi2 is 985248 Hz. To use use the datafile, download the zeroplus lap-c analyzer software (direct link to zip): After starting, you have to select run demo and then select the second device from bottom (lap-c(16032)).
