Is the Ki-CAD file available? My dream is to make something like the NEO 128 but with as many of these kind of modernizations as possible on board
The VIC II now has and FPGA replacement, the SID has several versions that have paddle support. Ram is clearly done, we are really close to NEW C-128 that only need to be hooked up to programmer to function.

The VIC II now has and FPGA replacement... Well, it doesn't seem to be available for sale. I only know of two current versions, the fpgaSID and the BackSID, and the latter has been out-of-stock for some time. Do you know of other current versions that have paddle support? The Armsid has paddle support. Ah-ha, I am a year behind in my knowledge. Yes, the latest update(s) have paddle support. The big test is to try it out with a Koalapad. Gotta buy one, Robert Bernardo Fresno Commodore User Group - www.dickestel.com/fcug.htmSouthern California Commodore & Amiga Network - www.portcommodore.com/sccan

The big test is to try it out with a Koalapad. I met with Ray Carlsen this afternoon and asked him about the ArmSID. He said that while it's true that it has paddle support, it does not support the Koalapad, Animation Station, or other such touchpads. An imperfect solution, Robert Bernardo Fresno Commodore User Group - www.dickestel.com/fcug.htmSouthern California Commodore & Amiga Network - www.portcommodore.com/sccan

I did the electronics design but not the PCB design so I couldn't give that even if I had it. Besides, this is not open source. Some people have installed 64k for the VDC on new C128 boards either by installing a Saruman-VDC under the VDC chip or by replacing the 2 DRAM ICs with a Saruman-64 (normally used on C64 boards 250469 and 250466). The Saruman-64 is less expensive.
