The new game Slipstream supports Chameleon's d030 mode so it makes use of the C128 2MHz mode in the border. Much needed, but I haven't tried it myself yet. It would be interesting to see if it works on the SuperCPU.

Space Junk was the name of Nalin's game.

I typed in a lot of games from magazines when I was a kid. I remember Your Computer having a series of type-in parts for a pac-man clone and a space game by Nalin Sharma. I can't remember the names right now. It was a lot of work to type in, but I did anything to play a game back then.

I actually have the book so I can look at trying to call everything except the thing that auto boots, but I think that it may be harder than it seems since I can't call anything that continues though that routine.

Is there any change if you adjust the RAM refresh register? I can try that when I get home on Friday.

Robert is a Wizard...you didn't know that? I didn't know, but I know now! I have picked up the computer and will bring it back to Sweden on Friday.

Is this a kernal ROM and not an internal function ROM? If this is a kernal ROM replacement, what has been removed to fit GEOS in it?

In the end I want the output to be compatible with as many setups as possible.

I tried to reproduce the problem to give exact details but now it doesn't happen anymore, even after several restarts. What happened before was that the emulator would run at 10-12 Hz when limiting speed and at 200 Hz when not limiting the speed. Something triggered this and I don't know what. I turned speed limit on and off several times then with consistent results. Now when I try it works as expected, 50 Hz when limiting and 200 Hz when not limiting. We'll see if it turns up again later.

I ran Z64K yesterday and had some problems with the framerate when limiting it. Are you interested in that kind of feedback at this point or is it too early in development? Maybe you should start a thread to discuss the emulator willymanilly?
